The Oxford Experience
The Oxford Experience
Developing and accelerating the transformational leadership our world needs now

An evolutionary experience
Leveraging the best of the University of Oxford’s institutions, IMAGINE’s Oxford Experience is an immersive 4.5 day leadership journey developing senior business leaders with passion and power for systems change, and accelerating purposeful partnerships.
Participants are accelerated by a group of world-class faculty from Oxford Martin School, Saïd Business School, the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, the Blavatnik School of Government – and world leaders bringing pioneering insights from philosophy, politics, economics; business, neuroscience and the arts.

Who is this for?
Beyond the hats we wear, we are humans who care, storytellers, candid, courageous and playful – all senior leaders with the passion and power for systems transformation, committed to climate action and social equity.
This year we’re a live case study of systems transformation via our food system, convening business leaders across the full food value chain including tech pioneers, investors, and regulators – the humans who can change the game.
Each cohort of up to 40 diverse participants is carefully nominated and curated with founding members of the IMAGINE Leaders community and with our Mission Board and CEO Circle. Leaders are selected from:
Business
The next-gen CEOs who have the resources within their business and through their value chain to effect change.
Disruptive Innovators
The scale-ready Founders reimagining what is possible – what we eat, what we wear, how we move and power our lives.
Investors
The purpose-driven investors who are funding innovative net- positive solutions.
Civil Society & Government
The innovative leaders building cross sector partnerships to accelerate solutions at scale.

How you'll grow
Leveraging the latest neuroscience on how humans learn individually and collectively, the experience will be a unique blend of fireside chats, debates, individual reflection, small group conversations and accelerators with real world been-there, done- that CEOs and founders. You will:
Learn new skills, gain global perspectives, and develop capabilities to lead eg. Systems Leadership, Net-Positive Business, NeuroLeadership, and Creativity & Storytelling
Join a courageous collective. You will be part of an unparalleled community of leaders committed to impact who are on hand to support you on your journey
Scale disruptive ideas and innovative business models with your fellow travellers and faculty members

Contribution
In line with top-tier executive education and communities, the experience contribution is £14 600 for our corporate partners and £10 600 for individuals (inc. tuition, accommodation and meals).
We convene a diverse community and recognise the full tuition might not be accessible for everyone.
As a social venture ourselves, we’re grateful to our partners and supporters for providing a limited number of fellowships to enable select outstanding leaders from government or non-profits, early-stage social enterprises to join the cohort.

And you probably have some questions...
Q: Heard some leaders of the big food companies are part of the cohort – can I come if I’m not a foodie?
A: Yes as long as you enjoy good food. If you’re passionate about climate or inequality — or interconnectedness with each other and nature – you’re probably passionate about transforming how we grow and eat, regenerative ecosystems, circularity.
So yes, you’ll enjoy September’s experience as a live case study of systems transformation through the lens of the food value chain. While (spoiler alert) conducting a chamber choir, exploring leadership archetypes via Shakespeare, constellating or punting.
Q: What does the contribution cover?
Contribution covers tuition from word-class faculty, experience materials, accommodations and meals. To experience Oxford in a distinctly Oxonian fashion, we have reserved rooms at the historic and inspiring Christ Church and Oriel Colleges.
Q: I have an incredible, inspiring leader in mind that would be perfect for this. How do I nominate them?
To nominate, please reach out to the IMAGINE team at [email protected] or our Membership Committee Chair, Silvia, ([email protected]).
All set? Fill in your application and we’ll look forward to learning about you, your life, and leadership.
