Former CEO of Engie
Isabelle Kocher was Chief Executive Officer of Engie between 2015 and 2020. Engie is one of world largest energy production and services in the world, with total sales of €60bn€, employing 160.000 people in 60 countries. Since her joining Engie (formerly GDF-Suez) in 2002, Isabelle Kocher had held various positions, in particular Head of strategy, head of the Suez Water Business in Europe, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
Isabelle Kocher is widely credited for having successfully turned around the company, setting it back on track by fostering its transformation into a renewable energy leader, as well as a major player in energy transition services. She is recognized for her ability to combine Green energy transition with profitable growth, reaching a 50% Total Shareholder Return during her tenure as CEO.
Isabelle Kocher is a graduate from Ecole Normale Supérieure (Ulm), one of the world best known scientific Academy (Alma Mater of 14 Nobel Prizes), she holds a PhD of Physics and is a graduate from the Ecole des Mines de Paris.
Isabelle lives in Paris with her husband Marc and their children.
