Revolution Foods, Founder and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors​

Kristin began her career as an investment banker at Citigroup in high yield finance. She later moved to Nairobi, Kenya to co found the Kenya Community Centre for Learning, the first school in East Africa established for students with learning differences. Kristin returned to the US to attend the MBA program at UC Berkeley, during which she co founded Revolution Foods with her classmate Kirsten Tobey. Revolution Foods is a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) that has designed, produced and distributed over 800 million healthy meals to underserved Americans, primarily public school students. Kristin is passionate about building companies that deliver both financial returns and positive social outcomes. As a Board member, she also helped Generate Capital in its PBC conversion in its work to finance a green future across multiple clean energy platforms. Through building her team at Revolution Foods for over a decade and working for four years on the White House Council for Community Solutions during the Obama Administration, Kristin has dedicated significant time to human capital solutions that drive positive systems change. Lastly, Kristin has been fortunate to start and grow her family alongside her professional work and has a husband, Steve, and two sons, Watts and Caleb, who inspire her every day.
