Born and raised in northern Portugal, left at the age of 27 and spent 18 years abroad, having lived in London, Lisbon and Maputo while working with and regularly travelling to many parts of Europe, US and Southern Africa. Finance professional for 20yrs+ spanning capital markets, investment banking and commercial banking (Euronext, Fitch Ratings, Lehman Brothers, Standard

After 8 years as CEO of a USD 1 billion bank in Mozambique, I decided to step- down and focus on Sustainable Finance. Currently, I’m an active YPO member, holding ExCo roles for the Financial Services Network, Sustainable Business Network and Impact Investing Initiative. Having been an angel investor (in impact) for some years, I am now setting up Ubuntu Ventures as the parent of a new platform for sustainable finance. I love doing exercise early in the morning, hosting friends at home on weekends and enjoying the beauty of life with the family, at any time!

I'm interested in a future Oxford Experience
