Aimée Christensen is an adviser and convener, leveraging over three decades in climate and energy to accelerate solutions for our planet and people. As CEO of Christensen Global, she advises innovators, businesses, and multilateral institutions, including 1st Avenue Power, Duke Energy, Global Ocean Commission, Mastercard, Microsoft, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, The Russell Family Foundation and Virgin. Her report with the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth, “Unlocking the Power of Small Business to Deliver Climate-Smart Inclusive Growth,” won the 2025 Ragan CSR Award for Best Research. She served as Climate Maven at Google, guiding its earliest climate efforts including committing to carbon neutrality in 2007 and Google.org’s first climate project, RechargeIT, to accelerate the electrification of transportation; as climate lawyer at Baker & McKenzie and World Bank; and as policymaker at The White House and U.S. Department of Energy where she negotiated the first bilateral and regional climate agreements. She was World Climate Summit’s founding Program Chair and Senior Adviser to the UN Secretary General’s High-level Group on Sustainable Energy For All. Each year, she convenes to drive systems change at her Sun Valley Forum. She is the Hillary Institute 2011 Climate Leadership Laureate and a 2010 Aspen Institute Catto Fellow.
