Dr. Lulit Solomon (PhD) stands at the forefront of global health leadership, operating at the interface of finance, healthcare, and technology. As the Founder and CEO of Epiqdata, Dr. Solomon is guided by the "One Health" philosophy, which recognises that human health is inseparable from environmental resilience. This holistic vision drives her mission of national sovereignty across a diverse technological portfolio. She navigates complex global systems to democratise access to critical healthcare solutions, ranging from Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and technology transfer for local medicine manufacturing to life-saving Pan-African Snake Antivenom. Expanding this mandate to the biosphere, she champions scalable climate adaptation technologies, deploying innovations that secure food systems for industrial agribusiness and vulnerable communities alike by drastically reducing water dependency. A distinguished alumna of the University of Cambridge with a PhD and MPhil in Epidemiology, Dr. Solomon’s vocation is rooted in her Ethiopian heritage. She continues the legacy of her great-grandfather, Dr. Charles Martin — Ethiopia’s first Western-trained physician, a statesman, and an influential figure in the suffragette movement — and her grandfather, who established the country's first fistula hospital. Dr. Solomon provides strategic counsel to multilateral institutions, national governments, and philanthropic foundations, including the Jeremy Coller Foundation. She has served on the Advisory Council and family of The Elders since 2011. She views her role as a guardian of the ecosystem committed to long-term human well-being.
