Cléa Daridan is a global leader in philanthropy, committed to scaling the power of the arts for social impact by bridging the worlds of private capital, the creative economy and international policy. At Community Jameel, she served on the Executive Team, directing the creation and long-term strategy of the arts and culture fund. Leading the organisation’s global philanthropic engagement in the field, Cléa oversaw multi-million dollar resource deployment across four continents. Leveraging an 80-year legacy, including work with J- PAL and Art Jameel, she established high-impact partnerships with leading institutions, including the V&A, WHO, and C40, to support innovators at the intersection of the arts, climate, health, and solidarity. She is an Advisor to the Royal Institute of British Architects Ozolins Fund, the Institute’s largest endowment for social impact, and is a Senior Lecturer at France’s leading arts university, École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. Born in London and raised between France and Egypt, Cléa attended the École du Louvre and the Sorbonne in Paris, where she is completing her PhD. She began her career at Unesco and the Centre Georges Pompidou, bringing together a solid background in global public policy and art history with deeply rooted expertise in the international philanthropy sector.
