Alison is a sustainability leader working at the intersection of automotive industrial transformation, climate strategy, and public policy. As Head of Sustainability Global Affairs at JLR, she brings deep experience spanning product engineering, business operations, engineering transformation and sustainability leadership, translating net zero and circular economy ambition into practical action to deliver credible and scalable environmental, societal and economic impact. Alison believes sustainability should be everyone's responsibility and takes a people-centred approach to leadership, focused on empowering others to drive change through their own roles. She is passionate about supporting and unlocking individual potential, creating high-performing teams where people feel motivated, valued, and able to make their greatest contribution. She believes that developing talent, skills and innovation for the energy, net zero and circular transition is a fundamental building block for a more sustainable future. Alison holds a BA in political science and social policy and a MSc in Sustainable Development. She is a Member of ISEP, a Chartered Environmentalist and Vice-Chair of the Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders (SMMT) Environmental Policy Committee.
