Sustainability has been the red thread through my career spanning the private and public sector, international organizations and social entrepreneurship in leadership, advisory and specialist roles. I’ve been able to lead and facilitate sustainable transformation in a range of settings that anticipate broader regulatory and societal shifts. I am also an experienced researcher who has authored over 30 publications related to sustainable development, energy policy, and economics. My deepest expertise lies in developing, implementing and leading stakeholder engagement strategies, sustainable supply chain shifts, assessing and mitigating environmental impact and maximizing social impact in a range of settings, including the Global South. I am particularly skilled in systems, creative and analytical thinking, strategy development, writing and public speaking. My work and studies have taken me to over 50 countries on 5 continents. I am grateful to be able to reference these skills and this international experience in the global cooperation activities I continue to be involved in today. I am keen to facilitate deep conversations about sustainable transformation among diverse actors and am proud to see the work I’ve led featured by the New York Times, Vogue, Die Zeit, and other leading international publications. Today I am engaged as Chief Sustainability Officer at Breitling along with external board mandates and as moderator or panelist in a range of different forums. I value collaboration, creativity, inclusivity and connectivity and am most at home in the wilderness at high altitudes, taking long pauses to learn from nature and enjoy the landscape with a sip of herbal tea from my many years old cannister that you may have already seen if we’ve met.
