Our Sisters Opportunity OSO, Founder and Executive Director

Delphine Uwamahoro is a social entrepreneur, a global health professional, and a climate and gender advocate . Prior to founding Our Sisters Opportunity-OSO, she was the Country Director at TIP Global Health, an International Health NGO which achieves lasting improvement in health outcomes in limited resources areas of Rwanda. Delphine worked with Allm, a Japanese technology company that is shaping health care globally by providing telemedicine, big data, cloud and artificial intelligence technologies. Her learnings and findings working closely with her rural community, led her to founding Our Sisters Opportunity OSO, a civil organization that aims to end poverty and injustice through creation of employment to women, in areas of ethical textile manufacturing ecosystem and agribusiness. Delphine and her team, are on journey of creating 50.000 sustainable and dignified employment for vulnerable girls and women by 2030. Additionally, she was a Johnson& Johnson Fellow, Segal Family Foundation African Visionary Fellow, 2019 Rwanda Award Winning Fashion Designer, and 2024 Community Champion Award Winning by East Africa Philanthropy Network.
