Diana Denke is Co-Founder and CEO of Fair Carbon, a Swiss non-profit building the market infrastructure required to scale a high-integrity blue carbon economy. Fair Carbon provides the tools, training, and catalytic finance that allow coastal ecosystem restoration to reach investment, without extracting equity or disproportionate value from the communities generating ecological outcomes. Before Fair Carbon, Diana led the Climate and Nature practice at KOIS, a global impact investment advisory firm, and worked on system change at Systemiq in Indonesia. Earlier in her career, she was a consultant at Bain and Company, advising corporate, non-profit, and public sector clients across Europe. She holds an MSt in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from INSEAD, where she was awarded the Helmut Meier Scholarship. Diana has lived and worked across three continents and currently calls the Swiss Alps home. She is a BASI Level 2 ski instructor and a PADI advanced diver, most at ease near mountains or the ocean, which is also where much of her work begins.
