Dr. Lina K Wiles is a senior sustainability and strategy leader who thrives on turning complexity into direction. An ecologist by training and a systems architect by instinct, she strives to lead with clarity, courage and heart - connecting strategy, capital and human development into measurable outcomes for business and society. As Chief Sustainability Officer at Adapteo Group, Lina leads circularity, decarbonisation and social impact, embedding sustainability into corporate strategy and amplifying Adapteo's circular Space-as-a-Service business model. Under her leadership, the company has secured a €2bn all-green refinancing, achieved EcoVadis Platinum, set Science Based Targets, and co-developed a sector-first Circularity Index. She also introduced a Triple Materiality approach, adding a business-value lens to CSRD’s Double Materiality requirement. Lina’s career spans across industries, from privately held Tetra Pak, listed Elis SA and AFRY, consultancy, and private equity ownership at Adapteo under Goldman Sachs Asset Management. She is a Senior Associate with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), where she teaches postgraduates. She contributes through board and advisory roles, co-founded a circular economy think tank in Sweden, and is a sought-after speaker on practical sustainability transformation and circular business. Her next chapter is all about leverage - driving systems change and real value creation under real world constraints.
