My name is Hamideh. I spend my career improving complex systems into structures that deliver under pressure. A childhood curiosity for science and technology became my career passion. As Head of Strategic Supply at Sika, I lead initiatives that protect continuity when markets fragment, regulations tighten, and raw materials become political. I shape supplier ecosystems that absorb volatility, adapt, and keep innovation moving – making reliability the default. Working globally taught me that leadership is not collecting flags; it is understanding how decisions land in different realities. I listen before aligning, translate local constraints into shared commitments, and make partnership operational. In 2026, Sika’s EMEA ICON Award recognized this partnership-led impact. I trained as a scientist (MSc Biotechnology; PhD Chemistry & Chemical Engineering) and later studied Sustainable Business Management at the University of Cambridge. Research taught me to respect uncertainty without paralysis and to execute through disruption. I grew up in Iran, shaped by resourcefulness and a relationship with land and continuity – heritage that sharpens my sustainability lens. Beyond work, I train as a HYROX athlete, run, and sponsor women’s growth through the Society of Women Engineers. I’m a mother of two boys, and our dinner conversations anchor me in the future we’re building.
