I’m New Gaia Strategies’ Founder, a platform to accelerate energy transition in emerging markets. Through New Gaia, I co-founded GoClean Energies, a clean- tech startup that develops solutions to convert urban waste into renewable fuels. My professional journey has also led me to serve on the boards of Agrosmart, Futuria Fuels (SHV Energy), and as a Senior Advisor to McKinsey. I have worked across industries and continents — from global leadership roles at Shell to low-carbon business platforms at Raízen (biogas and cellulosic ethanol). At Floen (a Votorantim & CPPIB JV), I became the first female CEO in Votorantim’s history. I was fortunate to be recognized by Forbes Brazil as one of the 100 Most Powerful Women in Agribusiness, and one of the main voices in the Brazilian energy market. Santander awarded me a scholarship to W50 Program at LSE where I met incredible women. IESE Business School shaped me so deeply that I remain actively engaged as a member of the Brazilian Alumni Chapter Board. When not working, I’m in the hills of Rio, in the forest, with my cat and dog, and André, my partner and mainsail.
