I was born and raised in Mexico. I live in a biodynamic farm and regenerative community with my husband and two boys outside of Mexico city. I have worked in the intersection of climate change and poverty in Latin America for the last 20 years. I spent my first 10 years working in rural & indigenous communities in Mexico & Latin America with a focus on participatory design practices for community and landscape regeneration at the watershed level. Since founding CO_ in 2011 we have supported more than 3,000 impact enterprises in our region through our foundation and continue to work to mobilize private capital and influence change with peers in the global family office space. CO_ integrates three verticals : an impact entrepreneurship ecosystem builder and systems research NGO, a private capital manager for direct and fund investments and a capital advisory to support individuals and families that want to transition their public and private portfolios towards impact. Our strategy is fully focused in regenerative agro-ecological food systems as a key driver to change. We work with the full spectrum of capital: philanthropy, venture, private equity, fund investing and public markets with a systems change lens approach. At CO_we believe a key lever in changing systems at scale will come from shifting our hearts and minds, so I focus much of my time in building and being part of aligned communities of investors and practitioners that want to work in deeper levels of connection, interdependence, consciousness and joy.
